Cole began serving as a trustee in 2022 and has been a member of Lexington First United Methodist Church for 32 years. Cole works for Lexington Public Schools as a Art teacher and also serves as a assistant football and wrestling coach. Cole is happily married to Erica Brockmoller who is a journalism adviser for Lexington Public Schools, and they have three children, Otto (9), Fritz (7), and Rüdiger (4). In his spare time Cole likes to hunt and enjoy the outdoors.
