Eric Bell

Lay Leader
Eric has been Lay Leader for two years and a member of Lexington First United Methodist Church for 12 years.  He has also served on the Church Council as a member of the Staff Pastor Parish Relations Committee for many years.  Eric has worked for Lexington Public Schools for the last 21 years and is the Principal for Lexington High School.  He has also been an Instructional Coach and Social Sciences teacher at the high school and has coached football and basketball at the high school and middle school levels.  Eric is happily married to Carrie Bell who is the Payroll & Personnel Specialist for Lexington Public Schools and they have a daughter, Penelope, who is six years old.  Eric enjoys going camping with his family, hunting with family & friends, golfing during the summer, and reading in his spare time.  ​
