Kurt Mcbride

Council Chair
​Kurt has been on Church Council in various roles since joining the church in 2018, as a member
of the Trustees, Lay Leader and presently serving as Church Council Chair. Kurt also serves as the lay delegate to Annual Conference for our Church. Additionally, Kurt is a member of the Great Plains Board of Ordained Ministry and the Gateway District Committee on Ordained Ministry. Kurt is retired from his life as a lawyer, the last 27+ years in the Dawson County Attorney’s office. Kurt is married to Luann McBride, and they raised a blended family of five.
With both Kurt and Luann having retired, they spend a lot of time visiting their children and 11 grandchildren in Colorado, Lincoln, New York and Washington D.C. In their spare time, Kurt and Luann enjoy volunteering in the church and community, long distance bike rides, hiking and working in the yard.
